Finally, I developed the film from the #FolderWeek 14.04 - 20.04
.
I developed it in Foma Retro Special according to the Foma datasheet. I got overexposed and very overdeveloped negatives. The flatbed scanner can't scan them properly, so I had to print them using contrast grade 0 or 1

A few more from the Folder Week Phoenix roll that came back looking more Phoenix-ey. The larger medium format negatives do seem to tame things compared to 35mm, but the film's idiosyncrasies are certainly still apparent.

Another #FolderWeek post: two more thatched cottages. The second has just been re-thatched; if you look closely just above the upstairs window, you might see that there are at least 3 different layers of thatch here! I love the fluid shapes that thatched roofs can have, but they must be seriously expensive to maintain!

I'm still down a scanner, so decided to make some quick prints to share some images I made during folder week. In order to preserve the square format I shot with the Mamiya I cobbled together a simple mask with some chipboard I had laying around.
Overall I'm pleased with how they turned out!

The old Mamiya 6's have a focusing mechanism that works by moving the film plane rather than the lens. They require a pressure plate to hold the film in place against this moving plane, making loading these cameras little different.
Decided to change things up (for me) and run a roll of Harmon Phoenix 200 through my Mamiya 6 K for #folderweek.
