Prof Heino Falcke<p>Last week we submitted a step 1 proposal to ESA for an M-Class mission with a 100+ consortium. The idea is to make razor-sharp images of black holes and jets using an interferometer of three spacecraft at slightly different medium earth orbits. Satellite drift will allow us to measure all Fourier components of the image and achieve better than 3 micro-arcsecond resolution.
