NPR has a story about Worldcoin this morning. To get access, you must basically stare into a golden orb “get orbed”. The system basically scans your iris to authenticate/identify you. This prospect. is scary as hell and truly dystopian to me, but on a more pragmatic basis, how the heck is a blind person who can’t control their eye movement like me going to “get orbed”! #doomed
