Dżizas! Działało, działało i chyba rok temu zdechło. Albo trochę więcej niż rok temu.
Firma Netatmo wprowadziła szereg restrykcji i szykan, które uniemożliwiały wysyłanie danych ze stacji pogodowej na stronę aprs.fi — wiecie, tych maniaków[1].
Wczoraj po raz (n+1) siadłem do problemu, oczywiście nic z tego, przespałem się trochę, obudziłem się na przelot ISS na tle tarczy Księżyca, ogarnąłem filmik, przespałem się ponownie i… „J-23 znowu nadaje”.
Zobaczymy jak długo, bo wyczytałem gdzieś, że token zmienia się co trzy godziny. A ten wygenerowany wczoraj to w ogóle zniknął

Ok, the roof is on. Looks horrible. Slum shack style!
I'll have to spiffy that up a little, don't like it right now. Add facia, bend some steel around them, fix that one rafter that is lower because the recycled wood was thinner at one end and I forgot to shim it 
Also my pop riveter is FUBAR so I couldn't rivet the sheets together where they're joined between rafters. Perhaps should've added slats, but that felt overkill for a firewood roof :)
But, the roof is on, wood can finally stay dry. That is happy news. Also, bunch of steel put to use instead of laying in a pile in the garden. And so far the only thing I paid for was screws.

Honey harvest time! My parents had a hive survive the winter and so got off to an early start. Doing a harvest early this season because they filled several layers so quickly.

Für die fahrbare #Pferde -tränke meiner Frau brauche ich einen Reifen 8.00-20 AS gebraucht, gerne alt aber ok, lose oder auf 6-Loch-Felge, deren Maße ich bei Bedarf rauskriegen müsste.
Das Ding wird mit maximal 350kg belastet und im Schritttempo unterwegs.
Es ist ziemlich dringend, die Wasserschlepperei ist nicht lange mitzumachen. Daher bitte gerne in entsprechenden Kreisen um #Minden #OWL herum #boosten.

Recycled rafters.
Our kid is gone for a week on a summer camp. We thought it would be awesome to suprise her with furniture set we've been busy with on and off for last couple weeks, all done and standing in the room when she gets back. The time is tight but we might just manage.
Doing last tryouts for the door handles and the finishing trim now. Hope to finish the day with all the doors ready and installed. Then it's just a matter of painting everything, mouting hardware and getting it to the room.

Cascading Steel Sheets
Well, there's a roof. Not very nice. But better than cancer plates. Might give it a pressure wash before and some paint after (with etch primer to stick, not like that green one there).

Hunting for a roof in various piles of hoarder treasures.
The house roof scraps looked promising. A bunch of triangular offcuts from when the house got a new roof. But upon sorting them by shape, only two triangles matched to form a rectangle, the rest were unmatched sides. Not enough.
The next option was galvanized metal sheets. Not as nice, already used a few times, but there's a big pile in the garden that needed sorting anyways.
Ants got disturbed and carried their eggs to safety and a frog hopped away into the thicket.
One pile for the scrap metal dealer, one pile small pieces to keep and one pile large pieces to check into further.
Got the framing done for this small extra firewood store. Changed my mind on the roof support so some parts got recycled. Added a center post because that worked much better with the short logs I had.
One side is applewood for the BBQ, the other fuel for the sauna. Yup, there's an old birdhouse in there.
Need to look through my scrap piles for a roof now! Don't really want to put those cancer plates on there, even though I have lots of them
