This "LibCPP" lexer starts with scanner class converting a stack of files in any text encoding to a sequence of UTF-8 characters. At a first pass (primarily for the preprocessor component) it uses CPU vector instructions to rapidly split the file into lines, before dispatching function for enacting the #directive or lexing the next character.
The directives may in turn dynamically dispatch to the appropriate "pragma" callback.
