I am not sure if I like the update policy of #eOS . Apart from the fact that updates come slow (still ok for me), it's the second time now that they discontinued the Android version I am using on my #FP3 without any notifications or hints (on my telephone). You basically have to find that out yourself either by checking the supported versions on their website or by realizing it when no new updates come after a couple of months. No reactions on questions here on #Mastodon. Pretty poor style. Thinking of trying one of the other #googlefree OS soon.
When I tell someone here that I don't use WhatsApp, I regularly receive disbelieving looks as if life wasn't possible without that crap (spoiler: it is). Then I usually suggest to connect via #Signal. Common answer: Never heard of, don't want to install another messenger. Suggestion then from their side to connect via email where >90% give me their gmail.com address.

A privately hosted meta query engine giving access to Google searches without ads, javascript, AMP links, cookies. Also IP address tracing can be avoided.
Well worth giving a chance in times such as these towards more freedom from mega corporations data hoarding
