If you had said even 5 years ago that I would be doing this, I would have thought you'd be crazy, or having a laugh.
But at @cyd flashes up old tweets, ancient blog shares as being deleted it's... strangely satisfying.

Meh, taking screenshots of all #tweets ... probably not gonna use that. Let's just nuke this thing.
Claw back your data from Big Tech with #Cyd
Tech platforms can't be trusted. It's time to regain control of your data. Backup and delete all your data from X (with other platforms coming soon) for free with Cyd.

If you haven't already left Twitter (I'll never call it X) You might want to run this app before you go.
Cyd is an app that you download, and runs locally, to delete every tweet you've eve made.
It also creates a local, offline archive of all those tweets.
The Free version can delete all tweets & retweets, the paid version can also unfollow people you've followed, and also delete likes & DM's.
By me for @hackster_io, "Fixing Cheap Yellow Display Frustrations." Making the ESP32-based "cheap yellow display" slightly less frustrating. #ESP32 #CYD https://www.hackster.io/news/fixing-cheap-yellow-display-frustrations-cdd2948303e7
