5/5 Finally, a press release about the speech from #CoryBooker’s Senate website. The numbers are truly astounding — people who tuned in, liked on social media, and thank-you calls to Booker’s office.

As I said the other day: rank and file Dems and indie voters are hungry for this kind of leadership and action. Let’s hope Booker’s courage and fortitude prods other Dem electeds to follow suit.

In his case, he held up a senate confirmation.

Why are we creating a “separate but equal” category of filibuster here?

So segregationist Strom Thurmond can keep the record?
