This is just a friendly reminder to everyone gaming out there.
Not hitting 100% completion is fine. Experiencing games to *your* fullest is what is important, and if that means you want to do everything the game has to offer, good for you, go for it, but don't force yourself.
There is a fine line between a game turning from fun to tedious or frustrating.
By and large, they are not meant to be frustrating experiences.
Also, note that challenging is not the same as frustrating.
Have fun out there, but know there is no shame in walking away from time to time.

Yesterday wasn't too bad. I played my first game of The City of Kings, which I enjoyed. Could be a good one. Mezo also arrived, which looks like fun. #boardgames 4 Guys Co-op had a good session of Dead Island Riptide, although it is a bit of a grind. Had a few laughs anyway. #ComputerGames I decided to brave drinking limoncello for the night's #cocktail but it turns out M has the same reaction to it I do - severe headache - so we abandoned that and went with a Rusty Nail.

I attended a #gamejam last weekend (Slavic Game Jam, first one for me) and explored further the intersection of Sukkubator music and #computergames. Made music for 3 games, had fun, slept too little, drank too much coffee. The most suiting in terms of mood is definitely RaveYard (in short: digging graves to trap zombies). On Fri we had the (yearly) curry night of ex- #DMADesign computer games people. First time I was able to turn up in ages. Thirty years since we made games, and some of us still do! This is where Lemmings, GTA and Hired Guns came from.
