Today we have eggs for breakfast,
As is tradition.
Then we went out to get a little shopping,
I managed to limp to Morrisions and back.
Saw a steam train being given a drink,
And stayed to watch it pull its train out.
Guessed at my MakerTube login,
And uploaded a video.
Researched replacement cars,
And learnt a lot about the Nissan Leaf.
Very tired now,
Mentally and physically.
Off to be,
Early start in the morning.

Yesterday a #pod of at least seven (possibly more) killer whales were sighted by Sapphire Coastal Adventures near to Green Cape, #NSW.

We still have a great deal to do to understand the pod composition and individual identification but preliminary results show Bent Tip, Split Fin and Square Notch all present as well as one new #calf.

This record follows a sighting of the same pod last Saturday off Lake Tyers, #Victoria, a minimum swimming distance of approximately 195 kms.

Omygosh you guys, we have the sweetest guest. We're guessing mama left them here for safety. It's breathing normally and is alert, if sleepy. Not approaching, just watching from inside. If mama doesn't show up by tonight, mum knows a conservation worker.

Since today, Wednesday, March 29, is Manatee Appreciation Day, I thought I’d post this photograph of a Mother Manatee and her calf statue that can be seen along the waterfront in downtown Bradenton, Florida. The manatee, aka sea cow, is a revered marine animal in this neck of the woods.
