#FreeCadFriday This has been my first full week using FreeCAD. I've made so many mistakes, so many retries, but also some progress!

I'm working on a model of the Zeppelin-like airship from one of my novels - I hope eventually to import it into a program that will let me walk through it.

Having some trouble getting rotation joints to stick, but here's a screenshot of one of the engine nacelles.

FreeCAD 1.0.2 released
We’ve just released a new update with over 30 bugfixes and small improvements, go get it here. As a reminder, these 1.0.X releases bring added stability to version 1.0 of FreeCAD, whereas new features in development will be released in version 1.1.

WOOHOO, fixed my #3DPrinting woes! Now testing a clip for this wireless mic; it'll sit around my neck (to not compete w/ mask straps, Shokz headphones, & glasses).

I'm tired of wearing out my voice at events, pushing my mumbles through an N95 for hours every day. So I'm upgrading a mic/speaker combo designed for teachers & tour guides.

I've tried using the Gridfinity addon for #FreeCAD recently, and it's super useful! However, I have a small problem in that the tolerances are so tight that I have to really force the resulting prints into the base plates.

Is there some setting I can adjust in the addon to make the tolerances a bit looser?

Good news for #CAD software users, #FreeCAD (1.0.1) is now in the #OpenBSD -current ports tree. ​
