You know, the #UX of #Mastodon would be that much more friendly if only those "Hide" and "ALT" buttons didn't get in the way of every image in one's feed.

So often these days, images have text in them -- and wouldn't you know it, the text is often blocked because of those buttons.

IMHO the hassle of the buttons' impeding legibility exceeds the value as affordances for managing the image.

I wish there were a user setting to hide them. Skeletor agrees!

I'm used to #mouse #buttons. There was no avoiding them until like 10 years ago or so, where laptop touchpads stopped coming with them.
Recently I got a #keyboard thing with a modern touch pad with no mouse buttons.

Well, I'll just get used to it. Millions of people enjoy them, they can't all be wrong!

The past 3 months of my lived experience without mouse buttons confirm: all those people are wrong.
Whole-pad click sucks. Emulated right sucks.
Give me back my mouse buttons!

Sharing these extra interesting ones with you.

Decided to update my OMG.LOL page a bit more today. Added some useful buttons to the bottom of the page.

Couple of those buttons were made by @andycarolan and the others I'm not sure who made them, but I think they look nice, regardless.

What’s stopping you from designing #HTML #buttons like this?

I got an #upgrade today to #KDE 6.2. I’m always a bit wary of upgrading the desktop in the middle of the working day because the behaviour may be unpredictable because of it. However, at first glance this is looking good. A detail that I like is that you can now map the #buttons on the #pen for my #WacomTablet to #MouseButtons as well as #KeyStrokes.
