kc posch<p>Oh, how I love a smooth train ride. Watch the scenery out there constantly changing, have a little chat with the neighbour, or doze for a while. Five hours from Hamburg to Copenhagen, Denmark, lunch break, then a short train ride across the Öresund to Malmö in Sweden, and finally another five hours to Stockholm. kc posch<p>Arrived in Lübeck, Germany. With some pride, I can now say that I have bicycled this year with my Brompton from Vienna, Austria, over Nuremberg and Berlin, almost all the way to Lübeck. Tomorrow, I will take the train back to Stockholm, Sweden. I must say that this was quite some fun. The number of rainy days was zero. kc posch<p>Meeting other touring bicyclists by chance on the road belongs to the nice extras on a tour. They are usually very friendly and very happy people. Today, I met a couple that got married recently on their bicycle tour. I learned about their wedding here on Mastodon, and then we suddenly met this morning in front of a bakery. kc posch<p>I bicycled through the Müritz National Park with its spectacular forests and lakes almost all day long. 100 km from Neustrelitz to Krakow, Germany. The weather was perfect, even some tailwind. Luckily, just around lunch time I found the perfect food for a bicyclist in the town of Waren: spaghetti carbonara. kc posch<p>I have successfully finished the first leg of this year's Easter Tour. Within 6 days, I bicycled almost 500 km from Berlin to Nuremberg, Germany. Yesterday, I took the help of trains, though. Now I am on a train to Munich, and then on to Austria. I am very grateful to all the people I have met along this trip.
