1. „Barbenheimer” to tzw. double feature „Barbie” oraz „Oppenheimera” — filmów z 2023, które miały premierę tego samego dnia. Reżyser „Oppenheimera”, Christopher Nolan, prawdopodobnie nie był zbyt zachwycony z tego powodu.
2. „Barbie” opowiada historię lalki Barbie, która żyje w Barbielandzie, fikcyjnej krainie zbudowanej z wyobraźni dzieci, które się nią bawią. Wiedzie idylliczne życie, gdzie każdy dzień jest taki sam (trochę to tylko frustruje Kena), aż pewnego dnia Barbie zaczyna zachowywać się dziwnie: myśli o śmierci, a jej stopy robią się płaskie.
3. „Oppenheimer” opowiada historię — uwaga — Oppenheimera, ojca bomby atomowej. Trzygodzinny film skacze w czasie między wydarzeniami, ale nie ogląda się tego, jak achronologicznego kolażu, a bardziej jakby ktoś podróżował po wspomnieniach w te i we wte (jeżeli to ma sens).
4. Wizualnie „Barbie” wymiata: twórcy zastosowali ścisłą paletę (np. różowe rekwizyty mają wszystkie ten sam odcień) i pozwoliło to zbudować wrażenie plastikowego świata.
5. Wizualnie „Oppenheimer” również ujmuje, co nie zaskakuje w przypadku filmu Nolana. Było sporo spuszczania się nad wybuchem bomby, ale mój torrent nie uciągnął tematu.
6. Margot Robbie i Ryan Gosling wydawali mi się trochę za starzy do swoich ról, ale koniec końców było okej.
7. „Oppenheimer” ma z kolei najbardziej niedorzeczną liczbę znanych aktorów nawet w pojedynczych scenach. Wiele razy widziałem kogoś i wołałem: „No i kto tu jeszcze będzie?”.
8. Mam problem ze streszczeniem sensu „Barbie”. Nie wiem, czy drą łacha z feminizmu, krytykują Mattel, parodiują koncept Barbie czy raczej starają się na serio jakieś przesłanie zbudować.
9. Z kolei „Oppenheimer” trochę mi się ciągnął (w pewnym momencie myśleliśmy, że już będzie koniec, a tu jeszcze 50 minut filmu było przed nami) i w efekcie główny twist był trochę za słaby. Ale tylko trochę.
10. Podsumowując, „Barbie” to trochę specyficzne danie dla zainteresowanych, podczas gdy „Oppenheimer” jest całkiem niezłą biografią.
@HilliTech That's what I keep telling everyone! Literally NO. ONE. I know goes to the theatre...EXCEPT for "Events" like #Barbenheimer - and that was different. It was an event made by the theatre-watching crowd. An event of opposites.
I didn't even go for The Marvels. But you bet your butt I'll watch it on Disney+!

Filmy Christophera Nolana tě buď naprosto nadchnou, a nebo je asi nepochopíš. Jako já tenhle film.
Poněkud zmateně podaný příběh vzniku atomové bomby. Ale zase na druhou stranu se spoustou super efektů a skvělým hereckým obsazením.

@garritfra Interesting. I’ve only seen #Barbie (not watching #Oppenheimer because of sex scenes). I liked #Barbie a fair amount.
I’ve only heard people say that they loved #Barbie and that #Oppenheimer was slow, dense, and boring, or that they loved #Oppenheimer and that #Barbie was silly, ideological tripe. I’m glad you liked them both the same amount!
Did the #Barbenheimer thing this weekend and I have to say I was surprised by how great Barbie was. I originally didn’t even plan to watch it in theaters (or possibly not see it at all). I have no interest in Barbie and figured it would be your typical comedy with too much riffing and lame jokes done to death but I loved it. Very happy to see it doing so well. And Oppenheimer too. A 3 hour Oppenheimer biopic doing that kind of boxoffice? Good times for cinemas! #CineMastodon #Film
I hate to admit it, but Oppenheimer and Barbie are equally great movies.
You can totally see #Oppenheimer without seeing #Barbie first. You may miss out on the sideplot involving some crossover characters, but the main plot is still very entertaining.

@Fischblog Ich hatte ja die Chance, beide Filme in einem direkten Vergleich zu sehen, ein #barbenheimer double feature. Klar, Barbie hatte diese spannende Gesellschaftskritik, war lustig, hatte Action und Musicaleinlagen. Oppenheimer hingegen war einfach beklemmend, intensiv und ging unter die Haut. Die Filme könnten unterschiedlicher nicht sein, aber beide sind verdammt gute Filme und jeweils eine Klasse für sich.
