I mean, I'd not have any issues with a "shitty" #Netbook if it's prized acceptable.
- And not €220+ for a Laptop with an #Atom #Z8350 & 2GB RAM and a 32GB eMMC that was €199 at lauch 10 years ago and €149 5 years ago.
Cuz then I might be better off buying a used #ThinkPad with #USBc, remove the dead battery and stap a Powerbank to it.
- Speaking of dead #LaptopBatteries: I propably have to mod my #X230tablet so I can #DIY some replacement battery.
Tho I'd rather start the #NUCbook project instead or buy a @frameworkcomputer / #Framework12 instead...

I hadn't heard of it before, but it turns out there's a style format called XSLT that allows the browser to translate an XML file into HTML with CSS styling for display purposes.
Since my feed is Atom rather than RSS, I had a bit of trouble, but this post was helpful:
I figured out how to get my RSS feed to be human-readable and nice-looking!
I'd been wanting to do this to give people who aren't familiar with RSS an easier on-ramp to the stuff I care about.
I figure if someone new to RSS clicks on the link and just gets raw XML, they might think something is “broken” and not stick around, but now there's something human-readable and with instructions on how to follow it in a reader.

I just watched the Mega Man episode of that Secret Level Anthology series on Prime Video and it really show how Megaman should only ever be adapted as an Anime.
This very Western Style could maybe suit Magaman X but not the Classic Series. Classic Mega Man I would want in Animation to look like the Pluto adaptation that went up on Netflix in October of 2023.
And this isn't about the 2D vs 3D animation discourse, there is 3D CGI Animation that cna emulate the Anime Style and VIbes.

@ruben between #Atom and #RSS, I believe RSS is simpler so I would recommend that. Regarding federation protocols like #activitypub, I think there is no clear winner just yet, so u can stay here for now. I am no expert, these are just my opinions.

- I've been slowly learning more about the #IndieWeb it's really great and the more I read about it, the more excited I get (but also more confused, should I implement #RSS / #Atom / #Activitypub / #webmentions on my blog, all of the above or none?). Also I've discovered some great blogs and dusted off my feed reader.
- I had a new, fresh haircut.
- Yesterday was the first day of the year it was comfortable enough to read a book in the garden, and it was nice and sunny.

I hear a lot of people talking about RSS lately, and that's great! But it's not the only game in town. There is also Atom. Atom is very similar in concept to RSS, but added additional features. It never quite caught on because feeds in general started getting replaced with Web 2.0 walled gardens and things like Reddit at about the same time it came out.
But now with a renewed interest in feed readers, hopefully people will remember it and give it the chance it never got
Anyone knows of a RSS+Atom to Mastodon/ActivityPub bridge that works with YouTube Channel RSS feeds exist out there?
