Nothing to write home about, but at least I got something visible 😀

I somehow managed to mess calibration frames so much, that darks were apparently brighter than lights (at least Siril told me, that 37% pixels after dark substraction had negative values, and result had indeed some strange all-black areas. No, I hadn't subtracted bias twice). So I had to toss the calibration out. And the noise is overwhelming. And it was shot under Bortle 6 sky. And there was moon. And I suppose I should have opted for lower ISO and longer stack. And there is coma, that was only accentuated by deconvolution, so I skipped deconvolution also. And … But!

Lumix G80, Olympus OM 300/4.5, no tracking, 152 frames stacked (out of 180, I really need a better tripod).

Hey DMV community:
Did anyone else catch a bright comet-like object in the sky tonight? Spotted WSW, traveling E just past 6:00, bright white rounded head, filamentous tails streaming back. Moving fast, no sound but definitely in the atmosphere at some height. Skies perfectly clear. Reminded me of rocket exhaust plume at altitude. I had no cell or camera, of course, and by the time I got back outside it was long gone.

IC 443 Jellyfish Nebula in Gemini. This is a supernova remnant ~5000 light years away. The supernova probably exploded 30000-40000 years ago. My first attempt at such a faint object and it's a little less than three hours of imaging time. I used it as an excuse to learn some new processing techniques. Still a lot to learn and I think I can do better than this, but on to the next challenge.
