Questa versione, sviluppata da jotd con il supporto di PascalDe73 per l'icona, porta l'azione frenetica del titolo originale sui computer Commodore Amiga, con grafica e suono adattati per la piattaforma.

Right as we speak a copy of one of my large audio projects is made to a mechanical HDD. I ask myself why technology has not evolved in a way that single consumer grade drives can take the TB of data they hold in at speeds that are proportional to their size.
It takes 10 minutes for a puny 100GB to be transferred at about 160MB/s from the M.2 SSD to the mechanical spinner which still rotates at that lousy 7200RPM.
My Ultrawide SCSI Fijitsu HDD on my A4000T rotated at 10.000RPM! That HDD is from the last century!!!
IT still works!
If HDD companies put in the proper research we may not be having 20.000RPM drives on servers, because of mechanical limits, but we should have had 10.000 rpm drives now for consumer grade mechanical HDDs.

Inofficial successor: Action Replay 5 DeMoN cartridge
An improved Action Replay cartridge for the Amiga 500 and WinUAE has been developed using reverse engineering. The hardware component is DeMoN, the software is called Action Replay 5.
HiWar was a Red Alert-style RTS by Virtual Design, cancelled due to the shrinking #Amiga market. A demo survived and was recovered by Rygar Łukasz - thanks to the dev!
A PC version later became Tridonis in 1998.

I am:
So, I almost never post videos, and when I post pictures, I either post as very compressed #WebP (not my favorite image format, but it's the best format for low-fidelity/high-compression images that #GoToSocial supports), or "lossy"-compressed PNGs.
I have a utility on my phone (Image Toolbox) that can reduce PNG files by reducing the number of colors, but it's not great at picking the colors.
When I have the time and presence of mind to do so, I will take the PNG into GIMP and either use its conversion function to reduce the number of colors (to something like 32 or maybe 64, possibly as low as 4 or 8), or (like in the above case) I'll actually hand-select the important colors in the image and tell GIMP to reduce the image to just those colors.
In this case, the original screenshot PNG was 83KiB, which I managed to bring down to 16KiB through the manual color reduction process (down to just 6 colors).
If you peruse the #LossyPNG hashtag, there are plenty of examples. Some are obviously reduced (and are reminiscent of graphics on 16 bit machines like the #Amiga or #AtariST), but some look quite good for how severely reduced they were.
