Very minimal & very cool release. Sort of drifts between ambient, ambient techno & dub techno.

Took me a little while to get around to giving this one a full listen but it's great stuff. Synthy ambient/ambient techno that reminds me of his previous release The Petrified Forest, which is a particular favourite of mine.
Kalmakurki (a.k.a. Yöpäivä & Kukacka) - Taivaan Kappaleet (18 July 2025). "Live recording. Kyttälä elektro."
Checking out some older dub techno, this one is very good:

This is an interesting release, some very long-form reworkings of tracks from a very early Biosphere album. Nice murky ambient techno stuff.

And if you like what you hear and want check out the entire "Facets" EP, you can pick it up on bandcamp for just $1!
listening to a lot of DjRUM and his experiments in blending contemporary classical with dance music got me thinking about Sebastian Mullaert who does similar from a more ambient techno/house perspective but I've not seen get talked about as much
really liking this debut from Paul Griffin, and very glad he's finally committed to putting some stuff on bandcamp.
would strongly recommend also checking out his soundcloud, which is where the bulk of his work is, a ton of very interesting stuff on there

returned to this for the first time in a while lately, I think it really shows the opposite extreme ends of his sound in a great way, it has some of the most noisy and chaotic but also some of the most gentle and melodic tracks in his back catalogue

Today's the day! My new EP "Facets" is officially out in the world
This was a really fun project, and one that taught me a *lot* along the way. I'm not much for genres, but I've settled on #ambientTechno as the closest thing I can think of. Or #bonkwave ? #notBonkwave ? I can't really tell which is more apt, so judge for yourself.
Adventsong – Verdancy
Warm, relaxed electronica that calls back to some of the classics to weave an inviting, bucolic musical tapestry.

Often find myself returning to this one, a really great EP.
Lots of colourful melodic synth patterns with minimal percussion and a kinda idm/ambient techno feel.

Really liking this new Fluxion album. Great collection of tracks experimenting in that space between ambient & dub techno.
