Jasmin Lilian Diab: ..we delve into the invisibilized daily lives of Lebanon’s Syrian Dom community, with a particular focus on the gender-specific adversities encountered by its women.

Historically nomadic, the Dom have largely ‘permanently’ settled in the MENA countries where they are based, though the Syrian conflict has displaced many to Lebanon, where they live in precarious conditions alongside other refugees.
