Last year, we celebrated the holiday season with our "13 Days of Weird Flash", which highlighted the work we published in '22 & '23.

We're gearing up for another round, so if you'd like to partake in that, hit that "Subscribe" button so you don't miss a tale.

Really really tempted to splurge on the Delphi complete works of several 19th to 20th century horror writers.
But I suspect a waste of money. They are cool 'books' but I think I don't know how to read them. Not like you really read all of an author's work in one go. SO, must pick and choose, and... will it be the good of an experience ?

But it's not like most of those works are available in print, so...

I’m so down that I am not even reading the new Mariana Enriquez.
I’m not low morale, I have no desire to do anything.

But anyways, if you are not me and love weird fiction, consider this book. ‘The Dangers of Smoking in Bed’ and ‘Things we lost in the fire’ were precious jewels of short story collection.

So yeah, I finally read Hello Darkness (Boom Studios) and it's maybe the best of the lot. Hard to say, most consistent, maybe*.

Very different horror genres with each story, a very good one panel gag section, doesn't hold its punch.

*The Steve Orlando story excepted. But it's Steve Orlando, everybody who reads comics, at least horror shorts, know to not expect anything from them.

As of right now, if you are into those anthologies, I think Creepshow and Dwellings are the best. No matter my sympathy for EC and the remarkable cover design of the new ONI line, it's serviceable at best.

Note that I only read Dwellings #01, but it’s the better anthology by quite a margin.
