Trying out sponge as an insulator on my interface board with accelerometer for my #VirtualPinball. The subwoofers in the cabinet are pretty powerful and I have them at a level I like. Optimally, it won't think I'm nudging when music thumps 😅

Hopefully I can get some help from the #electronics enthusiasts out there...

For my #virtualpinball build, I want to try and hide the 3 power supplies for the various leds, control boards and toys by mounting it on the rear of the cabinet in a box.

But to make it easier to maintain/rewire as necessary, I'd like to make the connectors quick disconnect.

I just don't know if there's an existing module that exists that will take 1-3 outputs/grounds and break it out into multiple quick-disconnect sockets, each having a latch of some form. A keyed shape would be a nice bonus. Sockets would need to handle at least 5ish amps instantaneously.

Does something like this exist, and what can I search for to find it?

Quick diagram to explain what I'm looking for. I want some form of socket that will allow a power/ground to be broken out into multiple sockets for running power wires from PSUs to various parts of a virtual pinball cabinet. 3 DC voltages would be run

Man, you would think having a vpin would equal less amount of work, but man it's hard. Part of the problem is running the newest version of everything, but the newer betas look and operate *so* much better. You'll be going along fine for weeks, and then the next week you're fully re-installing the system and crying. I never did finish setting up Future Pinball because Visual Pinball takes up so much of my time.

Been playing around with
#VirtualPinball tables, with, of course, #nudemods . Unfortunately, most are set for people who have actual virtual pinball set-ups, unlike me playing on my desktop. But after some alterations, I got them imported & working. Hoping to do a video sometime. More hopefully soon!

* As you can probably tell from my instance and I am a strong advocate for #sustainability and a #greenenergy future through #renewables. I can love the #madmax movies, but I’d prefer my future IRL closer to #startrek
* I think #ratrods are cool, but would like an #ev for daily transportation
* Music fan of #ramones #powerpop #punk #alternative
* I enjoy #mountainbiking #mtb and also #biking to work when I can
* I love physical #pinball machines, but #virtualpinball machines are also pretty cool.
* Absolutely zero interest in religion and vote heavily for #progressive policies in politics.
