Hey there, any #VoiceOver peeps know how to configure a #UniversalAudio Solo/Arrow interface to record my #VO in a #Logic session with a client directing me on a video call? I’ve tried all the videos and articles about routing and virtual channels in #Console but in a recent Meets call, Meets just hijacked my audio so it was really quiet in Logic. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong. If you could explain it like I’m a baby that would be awesome. Don’t wanna use Loopback.

Need some help with selecting and copying text from a webpage on #MacOS with #VoiceOver #VO. I have looked on AppleVis and Apple Help. I can’t work out how to do it. It’s driving me mad… any help much appreciated.

It’s been a crazy week.

Harrowing prepping/fixing my studio for the remote recording of my commercial #voiceover #vo demo. I passed with the help of a teacher who focuses on audio issues. So much to pay forward on that alone.

After that was setting up source connect, a piece of sw that ensures a directed session gets all the audio with high fidelity. It’s costs $$$ and mostly feels like legacy instead of value considering there are websites that can do that buffering for podcast recording. Anyway setup is a lot of Ilok and other crazy sauce.

I’m now ready for the next stage: confirm the studio for recording. My wired setup is ready… I hope the check is smooth.

FYI: I just learned that if you’re using Google sheets with #VoiceOver on #macos, turning off the “enable live regions” setting in Voiceover utility will completely stop #VO from announcing anything as you navigate through the spreadsheet. I thought either Google or Apple had broken something with a recent update. Nope, it was my settings all along. That’s 10 minutes I’ll never get back. I’d wager the same is true for google docs.
