iOS 19 wprowadzi tłumaczenia na żywo w AirPods

Apple szykuje kolejną funkcję, która sprawi, że AirPods staną się nieodłącznym elementem codzienności – w iOS 19 pojawi się tłumaczenie na żywo.

To może być prawdziwa rewolucja, patrząc na skalę użytkowników słuchawek Apple na całym świecie. Dzięki niej będziemy mogli rozmawiać z osobami mówiącymi w innych językach, a iPhone w czasie rzeczywistym będzie tłumaczył wypowiedzi i przesyłał je do słuchawek.

Funkcja ma działać dwukierunkowo – na przykład osoba mówiąca po angielsku usłyszy tłumaczenie rozmówcy mówiącego po hiszpańsku bezpośrednio w AirPods, a odpowiedź zostanie odtworzona drugiej osobie z telefonu.

Initial search starting now for a book #translator (English to Spanish) Must be a native #Spanish speaker with knowledge of/experience with #autism and therapy . Project will be summer 2025, *earliest,* but am hunting details for a grant application. Boosts appreciated.

This is making the rounds on Finnish social media.

A large association for Finnish construction companies, #Rakennusteollisuus, decided that they needed an English version of their website but apparently they didn't want to pay an actual #translator so just used some free #LLM with hilarious results.

They've fixed it now, but for a short while there was some comedy gold to be found.

P.s. I didn't find these, I've no idea who did.
