A view from a quay in Sardinia around New Year 1980/81.

As every storm is difficult to catch on a picture, there are "just" dark grey (fast moving) clouds in the sky, some coastal shore as a grey line on the horizon, storm flattened waves on the sea surface in dark blue with foam crowns on the waves, and the quay we were standing on in the foreground. A bow of a boat on the quay is on the left edge of the picture.

It was between Bft. 8 and 10, sometimes up to Bft. 12. We barely could stand and had to get a tight grip on anything mounted to the ground. So the photography is not as focused as usual. And it was very cold that year, between zero and -12 degrees Celsius.

It was a hell of a trip.
