Zia Yusuf, #Reform UK’s chair, said last week there would be a “large-scale reversal” of existing LTNs in the 10 areas across England where the party won control of the councils in the local elections on 1 May.

LTNs are low traffic neighbourhoods (traffic calmimg bollards), and the councils where Reform won: Derbyshire, Doncaster, Durham, Kent, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, North Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and West Northamptonshire all said they had no such schemes.

Nigel Farage is taking a holiday from not attending Parliament.

"Previously, we have seen one or other of the #LibDems or #Reform (and their predecessor parties) perform well at a set of local elections.
