I'm not interested in #communists holding power just to hold it for no reason. I want them to make transformative #actions that improve society's well-being. What's the point of winning just to win? #AOC has been one of the least productive members of #Congress since she was elected.
This is what the social democrats who keep telling me "at least we're getting somewhere" don't seem to understand. Holding power doesn't mean anything if you don't actually do something beneficial with that #power. What's the point of "winning" if nothing comes out of it?
Say what you want about #communists but most of them don't sell out their beliefs. Communists fight for the right things because they're the right things to fight for not because they feel they need to win some popularity contest.
This is also what I mean when I say liberals sell-out too easily. They're too willing to compromise on their ideals. If they think being more #conservative is the way to win #elections, then they move further right to try to appease these people.
