Sanotaan, että hyvää kannattaa odottaa. Tässä tapauksessa se ainakin kannatti.

Andy Weirin kirjoittamasta Project Hail Marysta tuli kuluneen vuoden suosikkikirjani. Itse asiassa siitä tuli ylipäätään yksi minun suosikkikirjoista.

Kirja kertoo tarinan, josta on äärimmäisen vaikea sanoa yhtään mitään pilaamatta elämystä. Kirja käynnistyy heti ensimmäisellä sivulla ja se jännitys pysyy yllä loppuun asti.

Matka on melkoinen tunteiden vuoristorata. Vaikka en itse vuodattanutkaan kyyneliä, en ole lainkaan yllättynyt siitä, että monet vuodattivat.

Blogista löytyy tarkempi arvostelu. Kirjoitin sen tarkoituksella aika epämääräisesti, etten paljastaisi tarinasta mitään.

Iso suositus minulta! Kannattaa lukea kirja, ennen kuin siitä julkaistaan elokuva vuonna 2026

Olen lukenut 3/4 Andy Weirin Project Hail Marysta. Olen miettinyt kirjan aikana, että mahtaakohan siitä tulla elokuva. Naureskelin mielessäni, että on siinä käsikirjoittajalla ja ohjaajalla hommaa saada tuo stoori elokuvamuotoon.

Äsken tarkastin ja hitto vie siitä on tulossa elokuva, joka on aikataulutettu vuodelle 2026. Pääosassa näyttelee Ryan Gosling ja käsikirjoituksen parissa häärää Drew Goddard, joka oli käsikirjoittamassa The Martian -elokuvaa.

Ohjaajien kokemus on vähän niin ja näin, mutta mielenkiinnolla odotan, että millainen elokuva tuosta syntyy.

Sitä ennen odotan, että miten tuo kirja päättyy. Tuli lueskeltua sitä taas viime yönä, kun heräsin muiden ihmisten mekkalointiin, ja ei hiivatti kun on jännittävä

Ryan gosling for Project Hail Mary...hmmmm. Up until now I've been like yeaah, probably not the best choice... but now that I think about it, what has he actually done? I mean I'm sure there's something. But nothing as obvious as many other actors.

A fine addition to my small but growing collection. Read a library copy before, but borrowing just isn't the same as owning, especially for such an excellent work as this. I also intend to read it again, of course :]

Hi all! I'm looking for #recommendations for #scifiBooks that I can listen to with my 13 yro niece on a long road trip. I'm looking for books advanced enough to interest adult readers but are tame-ish in the swearing and sex department so I don't upset her mother too badly.
