@blinry There is a tool called nik4 which can render such images https://github.com/Zverik/Nik4. Unfortunately it will need a full featured #Postgis Rendering-Database containing OSM Data. An easier but less flexible way to get printable maps is https://print.get-map.org

@robintw The crucial difference between #QGIS and #ESRI tools is their relationship to the underlying data structures.
QGIS was written as a front-end to #PostGIS. As such, it respects all the data management e.g. IDs, relationships and constraints from the db. This applies to Oracle, GeoPackage, too. All other DB tooling e.g. SQL scripting works as normal.

Today I remembered the weird syntax DBIx::Class (or actually SQL::Abstract::Classic) uses to use complex DB functions in where clauses: You need to pass a reference to an ARRAYREF. For example, to search for all rows where `location` (WSG84) is inside a circle with a given radius centered on lat/lng:
