@nila If you are refering to GNOME Shell, patched to run well on Mobile - that's only available in #postmarketOS right now, which does not support any Volla device in a viable way: https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Category:Volla

At #phosh @ev not everyone is a day to day cmdline #git user so I was looking for a #gui to allow committing, pulling changes etc. that is also packaged in major distributions.
I rediscovered "git-gui" which might not be the prettiest but it has all the basics and on top of that you can easily add arbitrary menu entries via `.gitconfig` e.g.

EDIT: for fullscreen issues I'd need to know what the issue is ideally with a simple (non steam) reproducer. I'm gaming steam games at scale 250% just fine on #phosh / phoc
Reinstalled #ArchLinux on my #ROGAlly Z1 Extreme, dual booted with Windows 11. KDE is a nice interface but is pretty awful to use with only a touchscreen so I installed #phosh with my custom #squeekboard layouts and #TouchpadEmulator. This could be the best UI for "desktop mode" on touchscreen gaming handhelds if it handled fullscreen games (especially with UI scaling above 100%) better and supported Variable Refresh Rate. It is so nice for everything besides gaming.
@kuleszdl It was an interesting talk! With the recent camera progress on so many different phones, @postmarketOS (among lots of other things) supporting work on audio improvements. @plasmamobile working on better wakup for calls and messages on Qualcomm and #Phosh e.g. working on cellbroadcast I think we'll be pretty close soon by leveraging all these synergies.
Call for Testing: Phrog 
will be the new #Phosh login greeter in postmarketOS edge

I got my new @starlabssystems StarLite 5 this morning, replacing a Surface Go 2 which is starting to show its age...
Of course I've immediately installed @debian #Trixie and #Phosh, and after #rsync'ing my /home from the SG2 it's good to go, with everything working out-of-the-box! (including the cameras, yes)
This definitely demonstrates how far ARM-based devices are from wider adoption, and how a Linux-first x86 #Tablet can still be very relevant to end users!

pomodoro plugin can now automatically start on unlock.
The #Wayland compositor #Phoc gained initial sysprof support, a debug
option to damage the whole output and we fixed several crashes.

alpha blending now to make things more appealing. We also improved
the media player's cover art by rounding the corners and centering
non-square images.
