voitech<p>I tried the Tasks plugin in <a href="https://social.lol/tags/obsidianmd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>obsidianmd</span></a>, but it’s not for me.</p><p>I realized that I don’t really need all the features.</p><p>It’s a very advanced plugin but presented in a simple form enough for non-technical people.</p>
$: Iam_jfnklstrm<p>A obsidian.md question:<br>1. I have a lot of pages (one from every meeting) and I have a fixed set of categories in each of these meeting notes.<br>2. I want to be able to see all of the notes from a specific category at the same place (not just the dots in a graph view). I want to see the text so I can compare and compile my notes under that category.<br>3. Lou Plummer 💖<p>One thing I dislike about Obsidian sync - when moving a folder to a new location, it has to delete all the files and redownload them taking a VERY LONG TIME even on a fast broadband connection. I tried using <a href="https://pkm.social/tags/Obsidian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Obsidian</span></a> for a while, but I much prefer the Logseq bullet point way of doing things.</p><p>I'm not giving up on Obsidian, far from it. Preslav Rachev<p>This was also an opportunity to test Obsidian's new Web Viewer plugin. It is so much of a smoother experience, being able to edit your text and see the effect right away. In anticipation of my apprenticeship/course in software development, I'm looking at note taking apps again. Used Obsidian heavily, but I think it's become too bloated. I liked and wanted to use Emacs, but it's so complicated, it's too much work (to have it sync etc). NotesNook looks good, but when I import my notes, none of the images show. Logseq do Orgmode now, so that's a strong possibility...
Anything else I should look at?
