In anticipation of my apprenticeship/course in software development, I'm looking at note taking apps again. Used Obsidian heavily, but I think it's become too bloated. I liked and wanted to use Emacs, but it's so complicated, it's too much work (to have it sync etc). NotesNook looks good, but when I import my notes, none of the images show. Logseq do Orgmode now, so that's a strong possibility...
Anything else I should look at?
#PKM #notetaking #ObsidianMD #emacs #logseq #notesnook
higher Workers plan.
To be clear this shouldn't have affected any of the backend services like Sync, Auth etc. It only affected the website, blog, and the web app. However, the web app operates 100% offline (once its loaded) so you shouldn't have noticed anything out of ordinary if you have the web app already cached.
We are really sorry for this inconvenience and we are working to make sure this doesn't happen in the future.
Ramadan Mubarak to all the Muslims around the world! May Allah accept your prayers, and illuminate your heart with faith, love and peace.
The Notesnook team will be taking some time off to recover and plan ahead. We'll be releasing v3.1 once we are back.
Ramadan Mubarak!

All of these are open source, private and encrypted. Of course, Notesnook is still the best
New headline: "Signal Messenger of note taking apps"
I'm nowhere near figuring out what #notes #application to use, and in addition to #Trilium / #TriliumNext, #SilverBullet and #Obsidian now I have #Notesnook on the list to look at as well
(#AppFlowy and #Logseq have taken VC money, so, uh, nah)
Love when people share their experiences with Notesnook, how NN is helping them organize and improve their workflows. Found this gem in Mastodon search:

Self-Hosted Corner (Day 29): Today, on my lunch, literally in the last 13 minutes, while eating, I exported my notes from Standard Notes, into Notesnook. I got it set up on my phone and laptop (running Fedora), I have the theme I want, the system preferences, and an account secured by 2FA. It's looking great and was simple. So far, I'm a fan. My ultimate goal is to self-host the sync server and have a local archive. Details here, https://theonlyblogever.com/blog/2025/notes-history.html. #notesnook #selfhosting #datasovereignty

Hey @accrescent @notesnook has an issue on github where they said they send you an E-Mail to be added to your store.
Is there any update on this, because there isn't anything new on github about this.
