We're living in a bus, trying to convert it and fix it up while paying off our runabout car and its insurance and trying to stay on top of the DMV costs, taxes, food, fuel, maintenance and materials etcetera.
Then there's the question of safe passage to places not under Nazi control for ourselves and anyone we manage to help out along the way.

#MUTUALAID matters a lot for us. We know at this stage how crucial it is to progress quickly to getting out to safety.
We need $1000 for a towing dolly to pull our car behind the bus.
We need $500/month to cover the car loan and insurance.
We need $100/month to service other debts.
We need $200 to refill the bus's fuel tank
We need typically $25-$50 per week for charging the car up at fast chargers and paid slow chargers.
We need $70-$100 per week for food
You can see all this adding up fast.

Hey,
This is a mutual aid post. So far, I've been successful in spending way less money on food (by eating less), dropping addictives and other stuff.
I still, however, have some debt to take care of. Right now, I had to focus on my thesis, and it's taking a lot of my time and mental space to do so, I'm also working full time in order to stay afloat.

The financial anxiety is still there, I've got some money, but it's generally not enough to feel safe about it. So my request to you is, if you want to support a young person trying their best to live on their own terms and pursue their dreams, you can.

Some time ago, I had to basically turn my life around and leave the place I was living (which meant security deposits and double rent for a month) and cover all the moving costs. I also lost my job and had to find a new one, and this one pays me less because it only allows me to work limited hours.

So yeah, I was in deep shit. I'm slightly better now, but it's still not perfect.
