Spring-cleaning at @Wintermute_BBS continues!
I've replaced the rather dull #ANSI menus I once designed in a hurry and without any creative idea (I never liked those) with some "new old stock".
See, there were several ANSI screens I had designed many years ago but for various reasons did not put into use even though I liked the way they turned out (mind you, I'm not a real ANSI artist)
So now I put some effort into making them fit with #MBSEBBS so that you people can enjoy them.
The screenshot of the message area menu is a just a little teaser, there are many more screens but I'm not going to spoil the fun ...
... and of course, I've preserved the iconic "red pin" ...

I've updated MBSE BBS to the latest version 1.1.0 (this is a pre-release but I don't mind) and purged quite a bunch of inactive users.
There will be smaller updates and changes throughout the next weeks, as some of the #rss #feeds no longer work and will either be updated or removed (most likely the latter) .
With the code to support plain #ASCII terminals being rewitten in this new release, I will try to rework some of the ASCII screens - but this is may take some time.
#WintermuteBBS - that's my second, #Linux based #MBSEBBS - is currently #offline as I need to do some urgent #maintenance and #updates.
I will also purge all accounts that have been inactive for more than 24 months (those are quite a bunch) and keep that policy for the future.
I will notify you once the system is up again.
I love the way my software running @Wintermute_BBS automatically indexed my #FidoNet boards

Wish I had a valid registration key for this one, I really think it's nicely made ... 
@aLPHA I can also recommend "MBSE BBS" #MBSEBBS which is perfect for connecting to multiple Echo networks. I use it for my Linux based #WintermuteBBS and even have submitted the odd upstream bugfix for it.
I ran both, Synchronet and Mystic for some time, but eventually went for MBSE in the long run.
