Grzegorz Turek :verified:<p>Wyjebane mam.

OMG! Ubuntu!<p>Linux Mint 21&nbsp;Released, This is What’s New</p><p>The stable release of Linux Mint 21 “Vanessa” is&nbsp;now available to download. This is the latest version of the Ubuntu-based distro and it carries a sizeable set of changes compared to the Linux Mint 20.3 release we saw at the start of the year. In this post I show you what’s new in Linux Mint 21, where to download download it, and recap how to upgrade to Linux Mint 21 from an earlier version should you be running one. As ever, Linux Mint 21 is available in three distinct distillations: the flagship&nbsp;Cinnamon edition (which uses the Cinnamon desktop environment by :sys_more_orange:<br><a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/News" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>News</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Cinnamon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Cinnamon</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Distros" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Distros</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/LinuxMint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/LinuxMint21" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint21</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Ubuntu22_04Lts" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Ubuntu22_04Lts</span></a> </p><p>:sys_omgubuntu: <a href="https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/07/linux-mint-21-download-and-new-features" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/07/linux-</span><span class="invisible">mint-21-download-and-new-features</span></a></p>
OMG! Ubuntu!<p>Linux Mint 21 Beta is Available to Download</p><p>Linux Mint 21 beta is available to download. The milestone is here to help intrepid bug hunters stress-test the next version of the hugely popular Linux distro, which is based on the latest Ubuntu 22.04 LTS release. Linux Mint 21 includes a swathe of refreshed components throughout its stack (mostly inherited from Ubuntu) including the Linux kernel 5.15 point release, refreshed graphics drivers, and lower-level tooling and developer library updates. Cinnamon 5.4 is installed as the default desktop environment. This revision includes a couple of significant changes including an updated Javascript interpreter and a reworking of Mint’s Muffin window manager :sys_more_orange:<br><a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Dev" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dev</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Download" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Download</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/News" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>News</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Beta" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Beta</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Distros" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Distros</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/LinuxMint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/LinuxMint21" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint21</span></a> </p><p>:sys_omgubuntu: <a href="https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/07/linux-mint-21-beta-released-this-is-whats-new" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/07/linux-</span><span class="invisible">mint-21-beta-released-this-is-whats-new</span></a></p>
Warten wir ab, was mein Test zur finalen Version dann bringt.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/LinuxMint21" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint21</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Cinnamon54" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Cinnamon54</span></a></p>
OMG! Ubuntu!<p>Linux Mint 21 Won’t Use Ubuntu’s Killer Memory Feature</p><p>Linux Mint 21 won’t use the controversial memory management feature currently affecting users of Ubuntu’s latest LTS release. Although Linux Mint 21 will still be based on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS it eschews systemd-oom, despite on-going efforts by Ubuntu developers to “tame” the bolshy behaviour of the daemon. To recap, systemd-oom is a user-space “killer” that force-quits apps with high memory usage if/when overall system memory is getting low. The feature is designed to intervene early to prevent the infamous system lockups that occur on Linux when memory is maxed out. However, some Ubuntu users have found the daemon is killing :sys_more_orange:<br><a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Dev" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dev</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/News" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>News</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/LinuxMint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/LinuxMint21" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint21</span></a> <a href="https://hello.2heng.xin/tags/Systemd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Systemd</span></a> </p><p>:sys_omgubuntu: <a href="https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/07/linux-mint-21-systemd-oom" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/07/linux-</span><span class="invisible">mint-21-systemd-oom</span></a></p>
OMG! Ubuntu!<p>Linux Mint is Making a Major Bluetooth Change</p><p>A better Bluetooth experience is likely to feature in the next major release of Linux Mint. Current versions of the Linux distro ship with Blueberry (which uses the gnome-bluetooth backend). This is used to handle connections to Bluetooth devices like headphones, headsets, games controllers, smartphones, etc, and integrate these devices within the Cinnamon desktop. But Linux Mint 21, due for release later this year, is likely to use Blueman and the bluez backend. Why the change? Well, the short answer is that Blueman works better. Testing within Mint reveals it successfully connects to a wider range of devices, audio equipment :sys_more_orange:<br><a href="https://the.fores.top/tags/Dev" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Dev</span></a> <a href="https://the.fores.top/tags/News" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>News</span></a> <a href="https://the.fores.top/tags/Blueman" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Blueman</span></a> <a href="https://the.fores.top/tags/Bluetooth" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Bluetooth</span></a> <a href="https://the.fores.top/tags/Bluez" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Bluez</span></a> <a href="https://the.fores.top/tags/LinuxMint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint</span></a> <a href="https://the.fores.top/tags/LinuxMint21" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint21</span></a> </p><p>:sys_omgubuntu: <a href="https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/03/linux-mint-is-making-a-major-bluetooth-change" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/03/linux-</span><span class="invisible">mint-is-making-a-major-bluetooth-change</span></a></p>
