Tried to setup a virtual camera for #Waydroid on #postmarketOS following this guide testdevlab.com/blog/android-vi

Rooting #Android works well, even registering VCam for the specific app seems to work but I cant get the video stream to show up :( Maybe not the correct video resolution or codec?

Version 1.9.0 is a relatively minor release, introducing two new form delegates along with various quality-of-life enhancements. New Features I took over the work from Tomasz Bojczuk and finished the addition of the file and folder form delegate. These two components wrap a FileDialog and FolderDialog respectively and like KUrlRequester in KIO provide a text field with autocompletion on desktop. Currently the autocompletion is a bit basic and is based on a Controls.TextField with a Controls.Popup, but hopefully with Qt 6.10 we can use Controls.SearchField.

I only took one more picture today as my little vacation with my friends is coming to an end. We had a great time.

Using a Linux phone was surprisingly boring. I mean that in the most positive way. Using a phone should be boring, because it should just work.

It wasn't perfect. All images look vintage, I had to rotate them all manually, and there was no way to select multiple files for sending. It crashed a few times, too.

I'm happy overall.

I'm going on a 4 day vacation to the north sea tomorrow and I think I'm taking the @postmarketOS phone.

The 25.06 release is the one where finally everything clicks into place for me. It's super stable. I can even take pictures! Not the prettiest, but good enough to capture memories.

When going to higher display resolutions in #phosh #stevia's 🎹 can become a bit small to type with (as our ☝️s usually don't adjust to display size). I've thus cooked up an MR that allows to keep the physical size of the OSK constant (in portrait mode for now).

On top of that one can add a "dead zone" at the bottom of the OSK which helps on taller devices like the #OP6 as the 📱 otherwise tends to tilt when typing on the bottom row.

For me this is a typing speed booster.
