Some properties' deserialization depends on other properties, you see.

So I asked myself, what would I do if I was using #Rust and its serde crate instead? And then I did that.

And yeah, this code is a lot cleaner now.

Supreme Court Justice #Ketanji #Brown #Jackson,
in her first television interview since joining the high court,
shared her concerns about the court’s decision this summer that granted former president Donald Trump #immunity from prosecution for official acts that took place while he was in office.

In a clip of the sit-down interview, scheduled to air in full on Sunday, Jackson told CBS News’s Norah O’Donnell that she has concerns about “a system that appeared to provide #immunity for one individual under one set of circumstances
-- when we have a criminal justice system that had ordinarily treated everyone the same.”


When O’Donnell asked the justice if she was prepared for the 2024 election ending up before the Supreme Court,
Jackson said with a laugh that she was “as prepared as anyone can be.”


She then turned the tables on O'Donnell,
asking the anchor whether she was prepared for the news cycles that have emerged during the 2024 election.

“No,” O’Donnell responded, smiling.

“No! Exactly,” Jackson continued,
adding, “I think there are legal issues that arise out of the political process, and so the Supreme Court has to be prepared to respond if that should be necessary.”
