Just heard from a friend that one of our excellent and most experienced COMLs just lost their AD sponsorship. And this person is a former fed (NPS). It sounds like others are losing their AD sponsorships as well.
The whole AD system is a mess for #wildfire teams. The system is broken. If we want to staff #IMT with good people, something has to change.
I fear that it is going to be difficult to put together teams and crews this coming summer season.
