A rather gorgeous orange sunset behind the surprisingly ornate 1904 Partick Sewage Pumping Station on the West of Glasgow.

Love the font and the craquelure on this sign painted by one of the doors on the former Our Lady and St Margaret's Primary School in Kinning Park in Glasgow

A lone Georgian townhouse on Charlotte Street in the East End of Glasgow surrounded by modern buildings. This house was built around 1790 and is attributed to the school of Robert Adam, one of Scotland's early Neo-Classical architects.
A bit geeky, I know, but I love this old stone wall in the Yorkhill area of Glasgow. I've got no idea of its age, but it leads down to the former Bishop's Mill, on the banks of the River Kelvin, which was built in 1839.
One of the paired entrances to Northpark Terrace in the West End of Glasgow. Designed by Alexander 'Greek' Thomson, it was built in 1866.

Good morning, Glasgow. The sun is out, the skies are blue and the blossom trees across the city are starting their annual display. I've a feeling it's going to be another wonderful day!
Sunset on Great Western Road in Glasgow. James Miller's magnificent 1897 Glasgow Style Caledonian Mansions is in the foreground, R. Duncan's 1886 French Renaissance style Cooper's building is in the mid-ground and Charles Wilson's 1862 French Gothic style former Kelvinside Parish Church is in the distance.
The Barrowland Park Album Pathway. Created by Artist Jim Lambe in 2014 to celebrate the role that the Barrowland Ballroom has played in Glasgow's musical history. Each 'album' on the path is dedicated to a gig by a specific act at the Barrowlands, ranging from Bob Dylan to Primal Scream, and including many iconic home-grown bands such as Simple Minds.

One of the few remaining parts of St Andrew's Lane in the East End of Glasgow. Also known as Schipka Pass, it was once described at the Worst Place in Scotland. You can read its full story here: https://newcleckitdominie.wordpress.com/2023/02/11/the-warst-place-in-scotland/
Not too sure this sign down by the Glasgow Science Centre is really needed.
John Cunnimgham's 1890s gushet tenement on the corner of Duke Street and Hunter Street in the East End of Glasgow. I love the curved fascia above the ground floor commecial premises of this tenement as it gives the feeling that you're looking up at the prow of a great ship.

A statue of William Frederick Cody, better known as the American Showman Buffalo Bill, erected in Dennistoun in 2006 to mark the 115th anniversary of his Wild West Show's visit to Glasgow between Nov 1891 and Feb 1892.
Is it just me, or do the towers on the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow look remarkably like some kind of evil space robots from this angle?
Bay windows on 1870s blonde sandstone tenements on Dowanside Road in the West End of Glasgow - perfect for little dogs to watch what's going on on the street outside their flat.

The 1914 design office of the shipbuilders Alexander Stephen and Sons in the Linthouse area of Glasgow. Starting in the Moray Firth in 1750, the firm opened its first Glasgow shipyard in Kelvinhaugh in 1851, before moving to this site in 1870.
The towers of the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow, topped by globe-shaped finials, at sunset this evening.
Another of the newly painted junction boxes in the Anderston area of Glasgow. This one is right beside Anderston Primary School.
This beautiful little cat on the ledge at the bottom of this image is one of a pair created by Hugh Pritchard in 1988 to decorate a modern tenement on Woodlands Road in Glasgow. I really wish more developers would include such whimsical details in their projects.
