So here we are, 2 #queer #otherkin #plural/median systems, living apart from the rest of our #polycule who can only help so much, in a half converted school bus #skoolie and a Nissan Leaf #EV trying to make more progress on the bus each day from scraps and the good will of others, working in between that on the development of @vulpinelabs' #opensource #geneediting system but that's gonna take a long while, evidently in the meanwhile unable to find any #jobs that will allow us to #work remotely and actually pay us enough to be worth the time and effort (the gig economy sucks). We feel exhausted with this capitalist realm and its expectations of #money for everything, inflation and bureaucracy only making it worse. But since we presently are forced to participate in it, any assistance while we get ourselves sorted out is most appreciated. We ideally need to raise at least a few thousand dollars to get this thing in better shape, but the more the merrier.

We might at some point implement activity pub in our laberation module as a joke and hide it as a Easter egg option
Laberation is the module where you can share gene edits and will be primarily distributed hash based
We could use open source volunteers for: ui/ux, programming, and funding and a bit of further help of research.
Our lab is still being worked on and we could use more supplies for hardware design and testing and are primarily working on software for now until we build out the lab in the vulpibus.
Most of our programming is done in Python but also we will need someone to write out arm assembly for certain hardware embedded in the gene editing system
As well as a custom implementation of distributed hash for the laberation module for sharing gene edits inspired by torrenting and needs cross compatibility with regular torrenting software (also the end goal is to make the gene editing software and information about it not centralized so it can't be stamped out as easily)
