How does #YouTube wants people to watch anything on it if they constantly keep breaking things. Making #Invidious and #FreeTube not work?

When #youtube breaks #freetube it's often great being able to hop to the latest version. I managed to do that on #nixos using overrideAttribs and overriding fetchFromGithub and yarnOfflineCache.

However, how do I calculate the sha256 for the yarn offline cache?! It's not the sha256 sum of the file. I had to find it in someone's pull request.

We need to support #FreeTube devs somehow. Their dedication to releasing a new version as soon as #YouTube breaks something for it to not work is beyond amazing.

Huh, #Youtube apparently put new enshittification features in place. According to the #Freetube error message they're blocking your IP, probably a check that triggers when a few videos got loaded while bypassing ad triggers or sth.
