Chewy is a perfect puppy; a warm and friendly, active and mischievous young guy who is ready to get outta the shelter for good! He had the opportunity to spend time in a couple of foster homes:

“Chewy is a very good boy, a typical puppy who loves to chew! He will be the best dog with some patience and dedication to training. He hardly barks or whines. He is crate trained and goes in pretty easily and leashes up easily.”

“Jade is a very sweet, friendly little girl! She was bouncy and excited when I met her at her kennel. She was eager to go outside; once we got to the play yard she went potty right away and then brought her little bouncy self over to me for snuggles! She's so funny and she got right up onto the bench next to me so that she could be as close as possible for snuggs! She's a great girl! Affectionate, friendly, wonderful!”

...while Sweetie Boi is on the shy side, he is learning to trust people and being with his kennelmate helps him to feel brave. He is a sensitive but friendly boy who is easy to leash and benefits from encouragement.

Sweetie Boi shares his kennel politely and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. A calm, confident doggy pal who can show Sweetie Boi the ropes in his future home would be great for him!

Dante recently enjoyed a day trip away from the shelter- he got to ride in the car (which he LOVED!) and go for a hike. His new friend described him as a strong, playful and fun boy who loves to be outdoors and run!

He’s a rough and rowdy type of guy and would like to meet any potential furry roommates to ensure a good fit.

“Dante is a very nice little boy! He was easy to leash up in his kennel and take over to a play yard... I sat down and he came and crawled into my lap for cuddles. He was so stinking cute and when I stood up, he sat right on my feet to prevent me from leaving his side! He is EXCEPTIONALLY sweet! We had an easy return to his kennel. He is a wonderful boy!”

Mark is a handsome boy with tons of great qualities! He’s social and fun, does well in the car, and is happy to join you on all your adventures! On a recent Pawjama Party he was reportedly housebroken, LOVED toys, and was described as enthusiastic, affectionate, and playful.

Mark shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Mark today!!

“I love Sophronia! She was super friendly and excited to meet me at her kennel door. She was easy to leash and walk to a play yard. She engaged in some gentle play with her kennelmate, after that she came over to me for snuggles. She has the most adorable face and it looks like she is smiling and laughing all the time! She jumped up on my lap and let me pet her all over her little wiggly body. She's a very sweet, very good girl!”

A volunteer friend shared, “Elf is very sweet and friendly! I entered his kennel and he showed me four feet on the floor for a treat. We had a very nice walk together; he noticed other dogs, but didn’t pull towards them or bark. He was focused on walking and checking in with me for treats and pets. He’s a great, sweet boy!”

Willy is a timid guy who will need some patience and TLC. He was easy to leash and we went to a play yard with his roommate, who he interacts with well. He’s calm and quiet and enjoys exploring. He also enjoyed rolling around on his back in the sun, and I think is a goofy young pup at heart. He’s sweet and curious and after a few minutes in the yard approached me for pets. He seemed to enjoy having his ears scratched and his chin rubbed.

EMERGENCY PLACEMENT DEADLINE 5PM 12/12/24

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, his family was unable to keep him. The shelter environment has proven to be challenging for Nugget. He can become overwhelmed by the noise and activity, leading to stress and anxiety. This stress has unfortunately manifested in some behavioral issues, including a minor bite incident.

Nugget is a handsome 2-year-old, white and brindle Pit Bull mix who's ready to find his forever home. In his previous home, where he lived for the last 4 months, Nugget was a beloved member of the family. He was crate trained, loved going on walks, and enjoyed spending time outdoors.
