Since the terrible air crash at DC last week, I've been keenly using flightradar24 and learning a little about the things that go on, I enabled some notifications for Comms and general emergencies, and I keep getting notifications of them.

Are they common? More common that we think? What do these mean exactly?

Have I just made myself paranoid for no reason? Or are we not being told about something that happens far too often and is actually quite bad?

Just seen a Military style #Chinook fly over our house in Ramsgate, Kent (UK SouthEast), but it's not on #flightradar24 - What does that mean?

Whoa, what's that? An aerial vehicle identifying itself as a British #GrobPrefect military training aircraft of the #RoyalAirForce has been spotted over Western #Ukraine, between Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk.

However, the #G120TP is not capable of flying faster than 245 knots, so either the alleged speed of 431 knots (ca. 800 km/h) was measured in km/h and was wrongly reported in knots, or it's a different aircraft type.
