[EN] James Gunn has shared the first photo of David Corenswet suited up as Superman. Two quick notions:
1. It appears Superman will wear his pants on the outside in this one. I honestly don't get the whole debate around this part of the outfit, though, so I'm kind of indifferent.
2. So there's something destroying Metropolis outside the window, and Superman thought it would be the best moment to adjust his shoes? I don't know how Gunn wants to convince those “fans” who keep screaming that Superman should prioritise the civilians' wellbeing.
Okay, let's be serious for a moment: I am sceptical about this project because Gunn seems to be doing too much with it (do Hawkgirl, Green Lantern and Metamorpho really need to be in this one?). But Corenswet does look good. Now give me some Lois, please.
James Gunn podzielił się pierwszym oficjalnym zdjęciem Davida Corensweta w stroju Supermana. Dwa szybkie spostrzeżenia:
1. Wygląda na to, że będą gacie na wierzchu. Absolutnie nie czaję całej dyskusji toczącej się wokół tego elementu stroju, więc ani mnie to ziębi, ani grzeje.
2. Za oknem coś rozwala Metropolis, a ten sobie buty poprawia. No ja nie wiem, jak Gunn chce tak zjednać tych „fanów”, którzy wciąż krzyczą, że Superman powinien stawiać dobro cywili na pierwszym miejscu.
A tak na poważnie: jestem do projektu nastawiony sceptycznie, bo Gunn próbuje w nim złapać zbyt wiele srok za ogon (po co w tym filmie Hawkgirl, Green Lantern i Metamorpho?), ale Corenswet wygląda spoko. Teraz poproszę o zdjęcie Lois.

[EN] Rachel Brosnahan and David Corenswet are the Hollywood’s new Lois Lane and Clark Kent. I will miss Hanry Cavill and Amy Adams very much, but I’m also curious about these new iterations of the characters. I wish the actors well and, hopefully, James Gunn’s film will regain the general audience’s trust in the DC brand.

[PL] Rachel Brosnahan i David Corenswet to nowi hollywoodzcy Lois Lane i Clark Kent. Będę tęsknić za Henrym Cavillem i Amy Adams, ale jednocześnie jestem bardzo ciekaw tych nowych wersji bohaterów. Życzę więc aktorom powodzenia i mam nadzieję, że film Jamesa Gunna sprawi, iż widzowie odzyskają wiarę w markę DC.
