In Japan, about most of the people in stores ONLY wear #surgicalmasks I never saw a N95 in like 2 years or more.
Until about 6 months ago, mask wearing in stores were like 99%, now down to about 70%, imo
I saw the audience at The Late Show with Stephen #Colbert on Feb 20 2025 and zero masks. Guess folks in #NYC dont worry about the #flu

Stephen #Colbert summed it up best:
"HE'S PICKING PEOPLE HE SAW ON TV!" (part of his #narcissism. HE was on TV, ergo…)
At least 5 (6?) of his nominees worked for Fox "news".
5 are billionaires (more #narcissism.)
3 of his 4 #DoJ appointees were on his 2nd impeachment defense team. The 4th was on his "tax evasion" (IIRC) legal team.
And as I've mentioned before, T****'s mistrust beyond family & friends (and people he identifies with) are telltale signs of his growing #dementia.
This is something of an anachronistic interview these days. I don’t expect much substance like this even from Colbert because the audience for articulate, heartfelt sincerity is waning. Nick Cave talks about the threat of AI to the creative process and the two have a genuinely touching exchange about the processing of grief.
