…#Germany is the 2nd-largest supplier of #military equipment & #arms to #Israel after the #US, with ~⅓ of Israeli imports, acc/to figures from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.
The main imports from Germany are frigates & torpedoes, the institute said, which are unlikely to have much use in #Gaza. It was not immediately clear what arms Germany would now withhold from Israel.
Still, the quick German response will be felt in Israel & is likely to be followed by other countries.

The port of Antwerp is ordered to stop arms shipments to Israel.

A Belgian court has ordered a halt to arms shipments to Israel from Antwerp, the EU's second-largest port, as anti-genocide activists seek legal ways to break political inertia.

It ruled that a shipping container of components for Israel's Merkava tanks and Namer armoured vehicles cannot be sent to Israel from the port of Antwerp where it's now stuck.
