Curious how many have stuck with #ArcBrowser or abandoned it. (And for what?)

I’m quite used to it now and wouldn’t like to give up splits, ctrl+tab between recent tabs, and a tab sidebar.

But some base-level functionality is still rough enough that it annoys me every day. Modifying a URL in Cmd+L sometimes searches instead of navigates. Doesn’t remember HTTP auth passwords whatsoever. 1Password integration is flaky.

Can I set up a separate container for a different activity in the ARC browser? I mean, for example, having a space where work-related pages are logged in, and another space for personal stuff and private logins. Firefox solved this with containers in the past. Does anyone have any tips? I think ARC could do this.

I guess you don't say that Google Chrome is also dead .

#ArcBrowser came to the "stable" state, that's why it slowed down in updates that change UI features or other visible changes. But my problem with it that couple of those features aren't polished enough, like changing tabs with hotkeys when sidebar is hidden.

Still my main browser for now.

#Zen is too buggy and Mozilla web engine underperforms on MacOs imo, while #Vivaldi has too many features I'm never going to use

A vulnerability in the Arc browser would have allowed attackers to insert arbitrary code into other users’ browser sessions with little more than an easily findable user ID.

The Vulnerability has already been patched, (as of Aug 26th) and is now being disclosed to the public for the sake of Transparency.
