NB: I am not sharing anything secret here. You can be certain that
1. Any #military flight with #ADSB enabled wants to be seen
2. No-flight zones are closely monitored by state actors
3. Given that there's several military bases, EU space research, and one of the main locations for the military arm of #Airbus and their helicopter R&D in this area, state actors will have their eyes and ears well-placed
It's Very Normal(TM) how the German #military #airforce is doing low-altitude training flights with the #Airbus #A400M #Atlas -- with #ADSB enabled -- in the South of #Munich all of a sudden and for two days in a row now.
This general area is used for test and training flights somewhat regularly, but then they declare a temporary no-flight zone.
I'm certain there's no messaging involved in leaving ADS-B on. None at all.
