You bet. “High Voltage” was released, their second album, “TNT” was released, they appeared on ABCTV #Countdown and by Feb ‘76 “Long Way To The Top” was filmed in #Melbourne. By mid ‘76, I saw “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” in #vinyl at school 🤪🤣☺️

For people into #photovoltaics, do you ever consider dropping an inverter and going full DC?

The century old debate between Edison and Tesla might need a revision, because of the mode of energy production. We shift to a local production now and the main advantage of AC - ease of long range transfer - becomes irrelevant. And now we have easily accessible DC-to-DC electronic impulse converters so it's not even hard to serve a large range of devices.

Most of the devices we use are DC-powered anyway. Just drop the power supply and plug it directly to the wall socket. There could be a set of standard sockets - round for 10V, elipse for 12V, flower for 24V, triangle for 30V, square for 40V and pentagon for 50V. And ofc. USB for 5V because that's already a standard. So that you can't physically make a mistake.

Every single LED bulb has a tiny power supply in the lightbulb. That's why they break. It's not the diode, it's the PS. It's often very low quality. The diodes are fine.

It's an interesting thing to consider.
