i’ve been waiting for the day i can get all the evidence from the USOC, IOC and PROC. it’s a story that even though they acknowledged somewhat in the 1980s, all the recorded evidence is in paper archives and not the internet.

it’s bullshit that USA, the so-called richest country in the world, doesn’t allocate money in their federal education funding for professional and Olympics sports development.

USA has never had teams for all Olympics sports because outside of Athletics and some team sports (somewhat funded via public universities), USOC & USGOV expect most athletes to come from the idle rich.

they call so many more process faults and personal fouls in #FIBA than #NBA #WNBA. it's another one of those little details that puts USA basketball at odds with the rest of the world.

God, after weeks of Olympic boxing and this past week of absurd Olympic Taekwondo, the UFC is ultra-satisfying right now.
