One aspect of that's not stressed enough: it makes email encryption trivial. So apart from providing great chat interface your messages are automatically encrypted 🔒

Yes and no. You can't force chats to be encrypted so you don't know for sure that your message will be. Also you can't use your password protected gpg key.

I use delta chat daily, but I would suggest something else if your fist concern is encryption. Matrix is nice

Isn't that after first message sent and received within app with new cantact, DeltaChat automatically exchange keys, so efectivelly second message sent by user will be already encrypted?

@grzgrz @yisraeldov unless of course you meet in person and scan your qr codes. Then even the 1st message is encrypted. Just tested this scenario with a spare phone.
